Our area has  particular challenges regarding the delivery of health care. This is due to various factors including Geography, weather, a dispersed community, lack of transport and infrastructure and the lack of professionals in the more remote and rural areas. This presents many problems for the health care services to provide adequate care, especially with our growing ageing population. We, as a community council take a keen interest in the services in our area and we welcome members of the public to make their views known and we shall endevour to update you on this site of recent meetings, issues and descisions
